“LoopLoop” is a 5 minute video loop that has been described as a “cosmic ride” and “Best Experimental Video” by the KC Film Festival. While traveling in South-East Asia, the artist, Patrick Bergeron, captured the day to day events, places, and people as they were

encountered and subsequently recounted in this project as a reconstruction of experiences and details that have been forgotten.

Using animation, sounds warping and time shifts, this video runs forwards and backwards looking for forgotten details, mimicking the way memories are replayed in the mind. Patrick Bergeron is a video artist and researcher whose work a mix of animation, experimental

film and documentary. For the past 15 years, he has been working in special effects for the film industry and worked on films such as The Lord of the Rings and The Matrix.
