Inspired by many trips into the Boreal forest and made with raw digital audio material from the same, fire river plane stone: Boreal Moments Unheard and Imagined is a immersive audio installation designed to bring the act of listening into focus. As we move in our world our skills of listening and hearing seem to be overwhelmed by our overly visual world. Getting back to nature is touted as a cure for this over stimulation. Are you hearing what I am hearing? This installation seeks to engage our sense of hearing as the primary sense and challenge our perception of the natural world.
