Artist Workshop: Phyllis Poitras-Jarrett

Join us and artist Phyllis Poitras-Jarrett for an in-person Workshop hosted at Neutral Ground Artist-Run Centre on Saturday, February 19 at 1 pm (CST), presented in partnership with Sâkêwêwak Artists’ Collective’s annual Storyteller Festival. This workshop is suitable for ages 8+. There is no cost associated with this workshop and all materials will be provided.

SYMMETRY IN NATURE
Phyllis Poitras-Jarrett has created a series of works to bring Metis Spirit Animals to life with rich, symbolic colours and hidden beadwork. Workshop participants will be provided with a turtle motif and flower motifs to create their own unique symmetrical floral design on the turtle.
