Neutral Ground will consider submissions from all experimental, visual art disciplines including interdisciplinary, multi-media, installation and performance. The centre will assist in the development and creation of new work of both established and emerging artists. Types of projects include; exhbitions, installations, performance, screenings, lectures, readings, special projects and events, publications and alternative site installations.

Neutral Ground maintains an open submissions policy but will be presenting the work of various artists in several core programs. Neutral Ground maintains a series of regionally-based short shows entitled Members Access Series which has been developed to meet the needs of its members as well as the community of emerging and established artists. Neutral Ground programs a Performance Series annually or biannually which is developed to address specific issues of relevance to contemporary art. We have programmed a series of community based collaborations whose intention is to investigate and demonstrate art as a community activity based on intersubjectivity and the exchange of ideas. Curatorial porposals for all forms of projects ,as well as for group shows, are also encouraged.

Neutral Ground's mandate extends to include the education of artists and/or the public in the Fine Arts and/or in the appreciation of Fine Arts and/or attempt to enrich the awareness of the public with respect to the Fine Arts through:

- Encouraging and providing a forum for the production, exhibition, performance and documentation of non-traditional art events

- Encouraging collaborative ventures amongst the Fine Arts (ie: visual, performance, dance, music, film & video, photography

- Providing a place for dialogue amongst artists as well as a focus for the exchange of ideas, information and resources

- Ensuring that participation in its programs and activities is opoen to all interested persons.
